Can someone please define "corruption" in the context of FL? It's a word that gets thrown around a lot and I wanna understand what you all mean by it.

Dindnt expects that from you Tomo. You've been around here more than enough, cant you tell the difference between what fearless used to be back in 2013 let's say and what is it now? Whoever says there is no corruption within the team is just a hypocrite. Don't get me wrong there are certain individuals that everyone is happy with but there are others that simply have this rank because they have a talent for kissing ass.

So at the end of that little rant you still haven't answered my question. All I have gathered from you thus far is that 'corruption' means you have a talent for kissing ass?

I didn't say there wasn't corruption, I was asking you to define what is meant by corruption, so I can personally assess the situation and think to myself either "yes ok fair enough, there is clear 'corruption' here" or "what are these guys going on about, there's no 'corruption' here". Rather than throwing around such a strong word willy nilly, I asked you exactly what you meant by it. I'm not sure how this makes me a hypocrite or how my question has any relevance to what Fearless used to be like back in 2013.

My personal view on 'corrupt staffmembers' are staffmembers who put their own interests infont of the communities and using their rank to achieve said interests. For example a thread with negative feedback about a staffmember and said staffmember closing the thread. In this case the staffmember is gaining something from his power from his rank, while he shouldnt.

A good example of something that looks a lot like corruption (maybe it was, maybe it wasnt) was the recent changes to clans. It looked a lot like Forgee and (mainly) Joe Joe were using their powers to safe their clan, who was threathened with a major war. Due to the extremely poor timing of the new rules people make corruption accusations. The community can do very little against it and its frustrating to watch. Not saying this is actual corruption, im saying that these kinds of actions is creating a lot of corruption accusations.

I can happily inform you the changes to the Clans did not affect the situation and actually allowed the situation to happen. Without these Guidelines changes Lucky 7 were immune, with these changes they no longer are. The changes did not effect the status of war as older guidelines would not have allowed for War at all. I understand how you may see it however both me and DVN said NO to the War and the new guidelines allow Camorro to affect Lucky 7 differently.

I can assure you that my intentions were not Corrupt in any manor we were attempting to make improvements to the Clan World. Improvements that were desperately needed.
Regards,
Joe Joe

Can we keep this on topic to punishments please. If you want to discuss corruption make another thread unless it directly relates to punishments.

this is not a discussion about my blacklist, finn had stated that there was no evidence or record of there ever being a biased decision by stating that there is no evidence, while i was just one of many cases.

if you think that blacklisting someone for writing "cretin" is the right thing to do then get some help snowflake and stop living in a bubble, because that bubble will burst and you will hit reality.

So what did you say 'cretin' or 'arsehole'?

With all the shit I've heard and witnessed since 2011,  that is true. No staff member is impartial and no staff member is in it to "keep the server safe", its the power of the rank they want.

A lot of players change once they get that rank. I think admins should discuss with other staff members before issuing a ban.

I disagree, I think they change a long time before that. After all you have to be one chameleon of a person to maneuver your way all the way to that rank.

Yeah I agree. A lot of admins talk a lot of shit about the players of the community behind closed doors. Players who used to be their friends before they became admin. bet there is a couple private threads lurking about.

Not like we can do anything about it besides get banned for discussing it so fuck it, let it burn.
