I've chosen this as setup for the new dedi:

I'd say get some more DDR3 in that, other than that it looks pretty awesome.

Soul i will recommend a Xeon CPU,
but it costs shitload of money

yeah i'm pretty sure you can get like 8gb of ddr3 ram for just like 50 bucks? and i'd recommend a SSD drive, they have no moving parts which means they're pretty much fail proof. not to mention they're TONS faster. regardless, glad to hear about this!

Looks pretty nice.
I live in germany (like 170km from Amsterdam) and my ping on the server was around ~90ms - not that smooth (especially when driving). Will I get a better ping when the new server location is in Amsterdam?

Soul took my advice with the SandyBridge range of CPUs
 Although I still recommend a pair of Samsung Spinpoint F3s for the HDD, they're boss.
