Problem with third person

For the last few weeks I've been having problems getting third person to work. I've reinstalled the game, I've reset key binds and I've type the command it should be into console but nothing works. If anyone knows how to fix this please post it's greatly appreciated.

This could sound odd, but have you tried using a different keyboard?
Or do you have the correct keyboard layout set up?

Figured it out, typing 'chasecam' into console put me in third person, this can be moved to answered.
