What about prefabricated structures for builds?
Take a 6x6 plate and 'hollow' it out to accomodate window and door frames. The same could be repeated for either sides of a house in varied shapes and sizes .

Not really done any work on this lately due to having animation work to be completed and wanting to game

You'd probably be doing yourself a favor if it was all compatible with the current 'plate packs' that are out there. The windows could all be one 'prop' that you just easy precision into position...
