I had some realy good RP moments today.

But before everyone flip out and cry "omg he haz lighs o.0!", I am allowed and thats why we need this damn trusted group!

For more excellent RP moments like this. Because in real-life you don't ram a heavy concrete barricade and it just falls to the ground.

I was in the police force of Evo City and set up a epic checkpoint at the tunnel.

Yeah I was there first time. Gotta say it worked great. You were active and constantly monitoring cars Let me through very fast when I was moving in a cop car too haha

Lights are not available to normal players because they lag the server...A lot.
Even we admins -Barely- Ever use them, and if we do it's for a maximum of 20 minutes because of what they do to the netgraph.
The fact that you even have these as dupes, regardless of being able to use them or not is failish.
Turns out Tim misread the question, use these again and it'll be a ban. A long one at that.

I didn't actually say you could use lights, you asked me if you were allowed to place traffic lights at the tunnel or something similar, and seeing as there was a president I thought fair enough, but I thought this would involve some sort of fading props of different colours system to make a traffic light, not actual lights.

I have talked to 2 other admins before I set up that checkpoint.
One was Soul, he passed it several times and agreed.

Unless the server was unusually quiet I doubt it.
Lights are incredibly laggy, especially when flashing.
Even when we have small dance events etc we can only use about 2 because otherwise there is risk of the server crashing.

Ok, but the server was quiet. It didn't crashed once I played with that checkpoint.

Then you were lucky.
Soul and "Two other admins" May have okay'd it.
But we've banned people for having the dupes before, because I remember Jamie using it in a base way before I was admin.

I wouldn't allow this, and yes we need this trusted group but you would be one of the last players to ever get it.

Isn't that a bit harsh? Visual is a great player and only because of that incident you go rage on him. Well.. Sigh
