Gmod Question

Okay, this started to happed few days/ maybe week ago, not sure when exactly.

Basicalyl when I join server and press join button, my game freezes for about 4-5 secs, and during that time someone else manages to join. I never had this problem before, any help?

That has been happening to me, too. It is really annoying sometimes

I fixed it. You need to mount as smallest amount of games as possible, also, disable unneeded addons, delete *.svn addon files, and defragment your HDD. Worked like a charm. And of course you can verify integrity cache, another thing too look on is RAM, try to disable all unneeded processes, more available RAM = map will load faster. And remember to turn gmod off and all steam related processes off during hdd defragmentation, so it will defragment all steam related files (running processes are considered as in usage)
