Having errors.

Dear Fearless community,

I have recently bought HL2 EP2 so that I could finally get rid of the errors in V33X, especially the doors down in the jail and the doors at the hospital.

I have "mounted" HL2 EP2 to Garry's mod, but I am still seeing the errors, it has been like this for days and I am kind of p/o'd that I spent money on a supposed fix that isn't working for me.

Any help regarding the issue would be very much appreciated.

The exact same thing happens to me, the jail doors, the hospitals doors and one or two of the lamps in the hospital too.
Would be nice not having to walk into a big error screen but I have pretty much gotten used to it.

For solve your problem, start Garry's Mod, at the main menu, go bottom right and click on the small gamepad, then find "Half Life 2 : Episode 2" and click on it for Enable Contents !

I downloaded episode 1 from that website where you get it free, but I am unsure where to extract to etc.

Yea i had the same problem as you when i bought ep 2.. Someone told me to get ep 1 to fix that. And i figured why not buy ep 1 if i have ep 2
