I find it weird how this has become so popular so rapidly but I personally think this move will be good because even though the game is only scary once or twice to see it with emotions, dialog and a story it will be quite a good film to see

Whole slender scene got raped after the games made it so popular. There are already many good video series of it so I really don't think they can bring anything new.
