The PhysX thing really appeals to me. Besides, I've heard that a lot of people are experiencing problems with their cards. So I took the safe choice. Last but not least... Either if I have a HD 7970 or 680 I believe I'm going to do just fine EDIT: Oh and.. I'm not going to be overclocking.

If he doesnt have 2 monitors, and if a 690 is able to run all his games, then why overclock it?

Perhaps. But right now I'm definitely not in need of overclocking due to the simple fact that I can pretty much already run everything.
