Scared of racism and sexism? No dude, I hate it and I especially hate people who tries to enforce it. You CANNOT decide when it is okay to use racism or sexism, as you are completely biased on the matter. Your personal preferences and your political ideas will get directly influenced when you decide on whether or not it is proper use of racist and sexist words and phrases.

You're also trying to enforce the opposite, decide when it's ok to use racism/sexism (never, in your view), and are completely biased on the matter. Your personal preferences and political ideals are a direct influence on your view on the proper use of racist/sexist terminology, and as such you're biased.

I can understand not liking the new rules, but at least don't be a massive hypocrite.

A society without racism and sexism isn't an opinion nor a privilege, it's a right. Same as being free, not a slave, is a right. When you are personally deciding what racism or sexism is, then it is directly influenced by your personal preferences. sexism and racism is defined per facts and not by personal ideas.

I've not read all what you've said, but im 1/2 glad they allowed rasism IC. If you go to hood, (NOT TRYING TO BE RASIST) you can hear black people calling each other "n1ggas. Yo n1gga wassup dog"

You're doing exactly the same, Flood, bringing your personal ideals into every post you write.

And yes, it is a right in society, but not because some admins in the sky decided to smite everyone who was even slightly racist/sexist. Any IC action can have an IC consequence, and it's likely that other players will end up punishing those who are racist etc. IC. That's the point of all this: allowing a true roleplay environment where we're not the nannies or holding everyone's hand.

Not being a slave is also a right, true. Yet we don't ban people for taking hostages and forcing them to work. Not being attacked/injured/killed for your money is a right, yet we don't ban for that either. You're attempting to draw your own line based on your personal ideals and then claiming that we're the only ones bringing our ideals into it.

IC means that you play a character. Do you also refuse to read any books in which characters are racist/sexist, or watch films? Because they all comprise characters, much like roleplay does. Racism/sexism has been a part of human history for a long time, sad as it is, and will continue to be so, but that doesn't mean we should censor something that isn't even real; it's 100% make-believe, just like a book or movie.

Racism and discrimination can offer a more fleshed out RP environment. It causes for new and diverse roleplays.

This can allow for a different atmosphere ingame. Other games have racism and discrimination. Games like Skyrim and The Witcher (1,2 and 3) has racism in it. You guys got to stop being so hyper-sensitive towards everything and actually try to see how this can allow for deeper roleplays.

Sure, we'll have a few annoying brats who runs around yelling the n-word every minute, but we'll deal with people who's using such terms excessively, or without any good reason that "assists" the roleplay that they're doing. The world isn't ending so stop acting like it is.

We've made this decision because we want to offer a more diverse and realistic RP atmosphere.

We're not forcing you guys to use discriminating words in character. You guys can prevent this from happening in-game.
Become a president and make anti-discrimination laws. Form a civilian group that focuses on treating each-other right and equally.

2.2 Extremist roleplays are only allowed when they do not reference real-life extremist groups/leaders.
2.2a These include, but are not limited to: “Adolf Hitler, Osama Bin Laden, ISIS, etc.”
2.2b Do not use real-life extremist symbols such as the swastika or hammer and sickle.
2.2c If you are unsure whether a real-life political group/figure is allowed, ask an admin. They have the final say.

But a president on the server can decide to promote racial segregation and you find this acceptable? Nice to know.
