He has a valid point about nepotism on the staff team though, shame you get shut down if you talk about it.

Insulting people though is no way to go about it. Sure, if he was less aggressive and insulting, I'm sure it would be a talking point, valid or not, but the way he did it was nothing to be taken seriously, and with a grain of salt, well maybe not, considering the amount of salt he brought.

Discussion won't do anything, staff are clearly set in their ways. If you want to stay here and actually gain any sort of advancement you have to smooch up to people who are already in high places, very cringe and not at all worthwhile (unless the person smooching already has no dignity and self-respect).

It's worked before when it was really necessary, there are more options than asslickery, and there are plenty of people who gained advancement without smooching.

But I see your point to an extent.
