You keep reiterating this point however I think literally none agrees with you - not even your own staff.
Everyone wants an old version of the game mode open and you just refuse to let it happen - because admitting defeat in this instance will hurt your pride.

your whole point just comes across as "oh it worked back then so surely it must work now!!"

It has become pretty apparent that FL will never be revived and never return to its former state - because people have completely lost sight of what made FL good in the first place, and worse yet - every response to such a claim regurgitates the same point: "We have already tried it, it didn't work. Jap jap jap".

I am, and everyone else is fully aware bringing back the old game mode won't revive FL - because there are so many other problems with management and vision that it simply wouldn't be possible with the current regime.

The point of bringing up the server with an old version of the gamemode is for the remaining players and interested to join the server and hang out and experience FL.

An old version of the game mode would also not have the same economy issues that have plagued FL for the past... what..? 5 years now.
