Backstory

The Meron-Tai began as a small group of men protecting the Daimyo of rural Japan (1603-1868).

After the Emperor and Shogun were forced to open their borders and trade with the US, they saw an opportunity to gain a great amount of power protecting the Black Market trade in all major trading hubs.

Knowing that Japan needed to industrialize quickly to keep up with the growing threat of western invasion, the leaders of the Meron-Tai began to study modern warfare and weapon technology. They learned quickly and began creating a small army under their own ranking system based on the modern armies of the British Expeditionary Force and the US Army.

Quickly they were noticed by the Japanese Army and given a political position within the court of the Japanese Emperor.

They proved themselves during the Russo-Japanese war by making vital decisions that would end in a Japanese victory.

Skipping forward in time to the beginning of the Japanese invasion of Manchuria (China), the Meron-Tai had become an underground Organization within the military, they were men who had not succumbed to the radicalization of Japan although remaining loyal to their homeland.

Most of the Highest ranking members were given orders by the Japanese military to take Nanking, seeing the complete inhuman atrocities that were committed during the Rape of Nanking, the Meron-Tai betrayed their homeland and fled to Europe and the US.

After years of being kept in internment camps, they were finally released when the US became victorious in the pacific.

Quickly they used their combat experience to establish a Yakuza organization within Europe and the US. Seeing the same evil they saw in the Japanese Empire in the government and criminal organizations of the west, they became enraged and sought to destroy these establishments. Believing their cause was righteous, they began recruiting like-minded individuals in their NEVER ENDING CRUSADE.

Now the Modern Era of Meron-Tai has become a staple criminal organization, operating out of SanRanEvo and EvoCity. Possibly becoming the same evil they fought so hard to destroy all those years ago!.

RANKS

Grand Marshal - The Grand Marshal is the highest rank in the organization. They oversee all activity within the clan, dealing with all manner of organizational business. They are combat veterans for the Meron-Tai, adept in strategic knowledge and diplomacy. They have shed their own blood and the blood of others, these decisions weigh heavily on their shoulders.

General -The General is the second-highest rank in the organization. These great men are hand-picked by the Grand Marshals. They adhere and obey every order given to them by the Grand Marshals. Their power within Meron-Tai is near equal to the Grand Marshals, they are highly respected combat veterans for the Meron-Tai shedding blood for the Grand Marshals without hesitation.

Captain - The Captain is the third-highest rank within Meron-Tai and the highest attainable rank. These men are promoted from within the base structure of the organization. Members given this rank have given insurmountable loyalty and sacrifice to our cause, not hesitating for a moment in action. They show a piece of great knowledge of strategy and diplomacy and will carry on the legacy of Meron-Tai.

Lieutenant - This rank is given to members who have shown an incredible amount of loyalty and duress fighting with us. These men are considered combat veterans and should be shown respect by all members of the organization, for they have earned it.

Sergeant - This rank is given to Privates who have shown leadership in combat, we allow this rank to give basic orders and gain more responsibility within the organization.

Private - This rank is the first recognized rank within our organization, these men have surpassed their rigorous training and shown a base knowledge of combat. These soldiers have pledged their lives and allegiance to our cause. This is the most common rank within the Meron-Tai.

Recruit - This rank is given to all prospective members of the Meron-Tai who have applied or shown promise fighting with us in our never-ending crusade.

APPLICATION FOR JOINING THE MERON-TAI

OOC Guidelines for application
This is a brief description of what we look for in potential organization members, exceptions can be made at the discretion of Grand Marshals, Field Marshals, Generals, and Caesar.

You must be active on the server and plan to engage in clan roleplay on a regular basis, whether this is raiding, training, or just chilling with us.

You must not have an active ban, weapons, or BMD items blacklist. As this will hinder our process of training you.*

Although we are a primarily aggressive clan, we will still accept applications from primarily passive RPers as we wish to branch into multiple styles of Roleplay in the future.

Applicants should not be toxic towards members of the community on the forums nor in-game.*

Applicants are advised to have 3 RPP, when not using the organization job we roll with the Gopnik suit. This is also to prove your ability to roleplay without being aggressive.*

Applicants are advised to have 300 hours; this is not a hard requirement.

Applicants are advised to have a Microphone and speak English well, this is for general communication purposes.

Sending an example video of you during a raid will help with the process, as we will decide whether you need training; these should be sent privately to Ranger, Caesar or Frost on discord. (Discords: Ranger#3655, frost#4183, Caesar#2369)

Applicants are advised to also have combat binds, if not these will be provided for them during training

In-Character Guidelines:

This is a brief description of what OUR great organization is looking for in our potential brothers in arms.

You must be self-sufficient, we cannot have our comrades needing their handheld, you are not children you are MEN of the MERON-TAI. Although we will provide supplies on occasions such as training.

You must provide a list of previous employment with any other organization, there are many enemies that wish to destroy us, and bring us to our knees. These rats will be dealt with accordingly.

Being proficient in combat will help your application, we do not need cowards nor ignorant men in OUR ranks.

ALWAYS respect our orders.
