Both of these things, in my opinion, are currently not the issues FL is facing. The issue is the fact that you have half of the administration team (Including SAs) are inactive. We have how many Admin Abuses still sitting there? If Tomo isn't sweeping through ban requests how many pages of them do we have? Bringing back the moderator helped the issue, but it also gave the admin team a bigger shield to continue sitting inactive.

I did, however, answer this fully, but there are more issues to FL than what you are providing here.

That’s fair enough, you’re entitled to your own opinion, however in my opinion, the staff team is not the reason that the current server pop is really low. Personally I believe that the reason is because of a huge lack of roleplay, not just passive - generally, people actually doing something. Anything. Other than placing down casino dupes & atttempting to get rich quick. Another factor I feel has caused the server to decrease in playerbase temporarily is the indirect announcement of a new map, without actually changing to it. Whenever this happens, (and I’ve seen it happen quite a few times now) hardly anyone plays the servers until the new map is released. Having said this, I’m not disputing the fact that as a whole we could be more active as a team, however I see no reason to put anything to do with the team in this particular survey, I stand by the fact that I don’t think it’s the main reason people aren’t playing as much and that is the issue that I want to try and resolve right now.

Casinos aren't a reason there's no roleplay, they're more a result of there being no incentives to do other forms of roleplay. Why would anyone want to sit in a shop and lose a ton of money when they can make money with a casino? The solution to this isn't to just ban casinos, rather to make others forms of roleplay more profitable and fun. We had this conversation while I was dev too but back then all we did is get rid of advert costs and lower a few property prices. It was a step in the right direction but we never really followed up on it. Stuff like bringing back the Teacher team (this was an incentive to passiveRP as it gave people something to look forward to) and reworking jobs to function better can help. Focus on improving current gameplay rather than adding a ton of new stuff, some jobs could really use a rework to make them more useful and fun to play.

I do get Development is a big part of the server too, but really it's fine right now and shouldn't be a focus. FL a few years ago didn't have major additions regularly or even smaller ones as often as you guys do now. The thing that kept the server going back then was the staff team and how they interacted with the community in order to promote roleplay. ClanRP was MASSIVE back then too which really helped encourage others to roleplay more. Another thing is that staff used to regularly roleplay with normal users by doing stuff such as some amazing corleone RPs or setting up a shop with others instead of mini-events which no one apart from staff can actually host. Staff are important as they need to act as an example for the rest of the community (this is something Teachers also really helped with). If people see staff engaging in a ton of roleplay, they will likely join in and then later on host their own stuff. Hosting events and mini-events doesn't really help with this as normal users can't really do them without staff help. It is fun to do them and i'm not saying don't bother with hosting events, but they're not going to help encourage roleplay on their own.

I think the survey is trying to break down a complex issue too far, and in the end is just asking for things that won't really fix the current situation.
