A person who breaks FearRP under 10 hours, sure. But im not going to explain a person why you cant proppush 3 cars across the mainstreet killing several people in the process. Its almost like minges know this is a server where its easier to get away with obvious rulebreaks. Its easy to blame the community where people get banned a longer time for backseat administrating then the original rulebreaker.
You can be as pedantic as you like really, if someone is running around with a fountain at 0 hours and refuses to follow the rules then crack on thats what PRs are for but most of the time if you explain where they are breaking the rules, from my experience as both player and admin, they will apologize and fix the problem. People need to give people a chance instead of slapping them with the stamp of minge.
Look at the admin team some of those have quite a history on the wrong side of the rules, that’s just what I took for them to understand them. Everyone is different.
Its not about being pedantic, its about the player who youre talking to. Often newcomers break rules because theyre in an annoying situation (under gunpoint or about to be arrested) and thats the moment theyre the least open to feedback or rule advice. As a staffmember thats easily solved by freezing them in the air but the normal playerbase doesnt have that luxery.
People can change, definatly, but they need to be willing to change before anything can happen. Lately the server had an increasing amount of ‘professional minges’. People who have 1 goal, cause chaos. If there is no staffmember around they can effectively hostage the server for 20/30 minutes by propsmashing everything that moves.
