I believe the VCmod issue is simply out of our control. I think it was a recent update made today (29th) that enabled a "beta" light rendering mode. You can view the VCmod changelog here: http://vcmod.org/changelog/main/
As there isn't much we can do apart from wait and contact the creators of VCmod, I shall close this.
EDIT: I have found the issue with VCmod and have contacted the license holder to open a support ticket with VCmod so they can resolve the issue.
