Hello Apple!
As cliche as it sounds, have you tried verifying your game cache? You can do this by going into the properties of Garry's Mod.

followed by clicking on the 'Local Files' tab

finally, clicking the 'Verify integrity of game files' located at the bottom of this tab.
This will make sure all your files are correct and are in shape!
