Also personally I would rather them being a one time use thing, once a car goes over a real life spike strip the spikes actually go into the tyre giving a slow release of air, meaning once it has been used its done.

EDIT: Marvin I also dont believe that it is only the owner that can pick up spike strips Im 99.8% positive I have picked up other peoples.
