Good day
There's not even a single rule about claiming businesses, so why should it be a part of the RP at all? It's pretty much unfair for everybody. Does Intel tell AMD to stop producing CPU's? No. It's true that there are patent fights; there are technologies that can be patended but don't forget one rule: patents can be violated as they are proven needed to produce a certain product. (Ever seen a single CPU without transistors?) So basically you want to go further: you don't want patents and won't use them, you just want LA with only one casino (sounds realistic, huh?). Let's immediatly start to claim props now, so nobody can build. That way we would take (some) tools of RP as well, isn't it?
Well, why not? Clans equal to companies, yet the clan is the OOC manifestation and the company/political party/whatever is the IC manifestation. So why not a clan making electricity? It's not a claim, it's a company people started to offer RP and RP opportunities. So there shouldn't be companies? I'd like to hear what you call a clan, then. Don't forget to tell the point of a clan if it can't be a company. (At least explain what you're saying, otherwise we can't know why you could have right.)
Basically, you're saying that clans should claim businesses, should restrict rp to new and old players and provoque raids because of the restrictions? That's how your words feel to me. You're just biased, because you've owned 3 clans (The Lost Horde, The ATEK Company and Black Mesa) wich helped you out, but to be honest, it just restricted our RP. Clans shouldn't even be made to "own" other people, to powergame towards other players by halting great rp.

Thanks for reading. I tried to keep this text as neutral as possible. I'm not insulting anyone, I'm just expressing my opinions (that's the point of a forum isn't it? Well, I'm very, very sure that you have that opinion as well).
