I think you don't understand what I'm saying?
You opened the door and looked on their jobs to see if they're your teammates.
You said "Who are you?"
After you said so, you clearly looked at his name to identify him, to see if he's your teammate.
You saw his job and you said "Welcome".
How is this not metagaming?
