Thread View

So I was just searching through the edit options tab and I changed the View Thread to 'Linear'

So I clicked on a random post and this is what I saw.

So I saw this change on the thread and didn't like it at all, so I decided to change it.

So I change it back to my preferred view and for some reason it wont change back

I'v been trying to sort this out for days but all my techniques haven't worked.
