To be honest though, I find this a little silly. I agree with "Joey Skylynx".

Incorrect, it's not an IP ban. It's a measure to stop people from using the same "family linked steam accounts" (IE same gmod copy) who are already banned from the servers. If you and your brother have different copies of gmod (you've bought it twice) you won't be auto banned.
