Images of the Penumbra Venture Drilling Rig 28
Please take your time to familiarise yourself with them, and the locations of the rig shown. A complete and full tour will be provided on shift start.
The rig itself with BOP suspended underneath the drill deck.

Primary drilling deck, here you can see the pushers control shed to the right, and the mud tanks to the left/

The crane is visible on the left and the rotary top drive drill is visible to the right suspended without pipe over the deck in the derrick, just in front of the drill you can see the pipe rack for the derrick.

Lower drilling deck, the latch up tongs are visible suspended above the BOP connector pipe in the closed position, ready to push the BOP lower by latching on casing pipe.

The toolpushers house/command deck, also doubles as cafeteria and sleeping quarters as necessary, located towards the back of the rig next to the elevator.
