When you first join the server, there may be plenty of errors. Most of them in HL2 ep. 1&2. Which can be downloaded on, But what about the guns? For those you may need Counter Strike: Source. (I tried using the stuff on SoulRippers thread, but it didn't work.)
If you don't want to buy the game you can download the GAME ADDONS NOT THE ACTUAL GAME here: http://cscheater.era.ee/ (Trust me, this is not a virus site). Once on the site go over to Garrycontent then click counter strike: Source and click Mega Game content.
Once downloaded, you want to extract the folder into your C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod\addons folder.
Once done just launch Garry's Mod!
Have fun with your new Guns!
