When something like this happens use @ to report them (don't retaliate because you will most likely get in trouble) and if there is no Admin just take screen shots and post a ban request.

But really the best thing to do is #ignore them or just reply with 'lel' or 'derp' people get pretty mad when you respond with random stuff :3
