You just lost all chances for him to be unbanned by saying:
Being a donator does not get you special treatment. You donate because you enjoy the server and want to help it financially, and in return you get some in-game perks.
Also, if your friend wants to be unbanned, then I suggest he makes the unban request as getting you to do it clearly hasn't helped his case at all.
