This is why I like you admins though. Any other community would of already chased me down with death threats for disagreeing with them (some already have).
I will have to disagree with you though. It's not that people don't know how to RP, it's just that people like playing the game better as a raid/contrawhore/RP/police chases/ w/e gamemode. People like playing it this way and they understand perfectly well that this isn't RP. It's just that everyone wants to play this way. Actually, I shouldn't say everyone because some actually do want to RP, but 95 percent of the server does a mix of everything. Which includes RP. You can not RP when 95 percent won't. You can't teach them because they already know. They simply don't want to play the game this way.
One more point I want to touch on is that I would not have hated another admin for doing this. First, I don't think most admins do this. I have never seen any admin complain for the way I play before. Also, if someone like Jamie or G.Matt had done this, I would not have insulted them. Jamie is a great admin. He stood up late last night dead tired because there were no other admins on. Now that's being a GREAT admin. Ruxandra usually joins, bans a few people, might play a bit, then leave.
Anyways, I've been playing Gmod for almost 5 years and the only places where I have EVER seen good RP is HL2RP. Where there are almost no guns, vehicles, or much of any items.
