Russophobia

DOMT BE LAZY TO READ IT! I SHORTENED IT AS MUCH AS I COULD POSSIBLY COMPREHEND! IT CANNOT BE SHORTENED ANY FURTHER

Ok so let me first introduce WHY I have decided to write about definition "russophobia"
Recently i heard many people using this term in not very right ways
And what they reffer to definition Russophobia is that it is an international term for all thos whwo hate russia
Now let me tell you what exactly this definition is:

Attempts to give a definition of a particular concept usually refer to agency theory. But in this article I pursue only practical purpose: to try to give a definition of Russophobia, in which it would no longer play the role of an apple of discord between the different directions of Russian patriots.
The problem is that this concept is often used by representatives of the Russian movement, not only at our foreign enemies and their accomplices outspoken in Russia, but also at other members of the Russian movement, whose views are more or less do not coincider with their views. Orthodox Christians and pagans, white and red army, the monarchists and liberals in the heat of the debate now and then branded each other Russophobeian definitions.
Why is this bad? Because Russophobia is not a rigorous scientific concept (although it is used in the scientific literature) of the academic conventions, as far as I know, in its content there. Everyone is free to put in a word their personal dislikes and used as a polemical "scrap." In the Russian national-patriotic media "Russophobia" - a political label, perhaps the most frightening and stigmatizing, since it is a long time (especially after the appearance of the eponymous works by Igor Shafarevich) is perceived as a generic name of anti-Russian political and existential, and "Russophobia" - as analogue of the conscious and crafty (in addition, as a rule a certain way of ethnically marked) the enemy of the Russian people.
There are words/phrases, after saying that one party against the other, mutual understanding and friendly cooperation between them becomes impossible. "Russophobia" - a classic example of such a divisive word. Of course, in certain circumstances may be a pragmatic policy to work together with anyone, even with enemies, which currently are the enemies of our enemies. But between the forces, suggesting a coalition, "the long haul, " a certain minimum of trust must exist. Russian nationalists in different directions, we call each other "Russophobia" (ie the enemies of the Russian people), is unlikely to be able to establish such a minimum, and all calls to oblivion the ideological contradictions in the name of the common cause will remain in vain, because no one wants to suffer reputational damage, caused by this mark.
Therefore, it seems reasonable to me: 1) to find some kind of conventional definition of Russophobia, which do not fall under those nationalists (or patriots) who intend to cooperate with each other within a relatively long term, and 2) to refuse the use of the label in relation to each other during this cooperation.
In my opinion, Russophobia is not:
- 1) random negative comments about the Russian and Russia, the Russian people made in a moment of irritation (eg, "Russophobic" sayings of the great Russian people, I undertake to bring tens of offhand - from Pushkin to Rozanov or Reznov (as a CoD game stereotype));***
- 2) preference one way or another material or non-Russian cultural values of Russian (I do not remember anything of nationalist domestic auto industry or the fans of the modern national cinema);
- 3) affiliation (or non-membership in principle) to any religion;
- 4) a critical evaluation of various periods of national history (this is where the greatest number of copies is broken, simply because, until recently, this was absolutely not subject to our influence, and "fighting for history," a substitute for real politics);
- 5) utopian projects of the distant future, admire some and abominable for other nationalists (the monarchy, the caste system, communism, national socialism, etc.).
Russophobia is: recognition of the Russian kind of ontological and / or genetic inferiority, hatred or fear of an existential with respect to them, the systematic and deliberate desire to harm rather than good, and the (soft version) ignore the basic interests of the Russian people and issues affecting its the vast majority.
With this approach, we were surprised to find that Russophobes something in the Russian national movement, there is little, and find a common language between different wings it becomes much easier.
It is clear that the representatives of the various currents Russian patriotiki to say about their opponents, yes, probably, they sincerely want to benefit of Russian and Russia, but the realization of their ideas will only bring harm. Such discussions, blind, by definition, to anything productive will not result. If we want normal cooperation, it is necessary to limit the formal criterion of Russophobia as a conscious negative attitude to Russian, precisely because they are Russian.
Of course, the above definition is largely pragmatic and diplomatic, but not only. It also has a meaningful value, because he takes into account the undeniable fact that the Russian - different, but all of them should find a place in the coming Russian national state. This banal, oddly enough to be repeated again and again, because it is, unfortunately, hard to digest all sorts of fanatics of their ideologies. I hope that when the Nationalists begin a normal practical politics, bigotry, this naturally come to naught.
