If you want to spend less money, try to find some older HDD and use that in your new computer (like the one in your current computer), for the HDD prices skyrocketed several months ago and they won't lower anytime soon. Also, the money spared can be used for an ATI HD 6870 graphics card, alltough that isn't really needed imo.

Apparantly THIEIF claims you would need a different motherboard for an Intel... do it.
I refuse to buy AMD... and you won't regret Intel.

I've had 3 AMD CPU's, I didn't have any problems with them... Nor was I impressed by their performance. Intel i7 FTW.

Intel and and use different sockets. So if you get intel and use te mother board that's used for amd it won't work I'm a hard ware freak

I use an Intel processor and I'm quite satisfied with it's performance, however I have used AMD in the past and I never had a reason to complain.
