[Solved] Timing out when joining in

Basically in the past few days my game as been timing out when I join in. When I load in everything is fine, but within a second the red text (timed out) pops up. Rejoining usually does the same and it will take along time (4 or more tries) to join in.

This happens to a lot of people including myself. I thinks there's a problem with the server it self. There isn't much you can do about it.

In the meantime we can try a few tricks. First one is to Verify the Game Cache

Rightclick Gmod in Steam> Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity of Game Files

Next, we can remove all addons that are not used on fearless. I would remove all addons and then add back those that are required.

Search for more solutions here or even reinstall all the Content and make sure you have nothing installed what the server doesn't need, just to make sure!

I am on a not very good laptop, can still run Gmod alright.
I'm not sure it is my laptop as I have never had this problem before...

Ethan, it's been almost two weeks since the post of this thread. Has the issue been fixed?

Issue has not been fixed.

I time out while loading in, the grey box will appear.
Then I try joining again, I'll load in and then red text will appear
This usually happens 2 times before I actually can get in the game.
