most community's has an entire section dedicated to admins
I.E:
admin forum section only they can see
a web cp they can see
a chat system maybe
etc...
the guide is only the icing theres alot more going on behind the scenes

Yes indeed what nadrick says, being an old admin on other communitys through many years i Can attest to this.

I dont see why you need a public admin guide personally, admin positions is not public so you dont need to learn everything off by heart, if you get chosen thats what trial admin is for, like nadrick says it will be private because of privacy and stuff that does not need to be told publicly.

You'd best write one yourself.
That's the only way you could make sure everything is covered.

ill help ya out heres what a good guide should have
*Admin rules (what they can and cant do)
- rules they follow
*Ban guideline
- what type of bans to issue for what
---- determining how long someone should be banned
---- when to issue a perma and the rules for it
*List of commands
*any recommended addons if needed
- list of addons the server uses
*misc
- a way to contact you (all my past admins had my phone number to text me)
- list of current admins/superadmins
- misc info you may need
theres a list of a basic info that makes up a good guide for admins if you ask me

I don't feel like its unnecessary for it to be private, but I suppose its the only way to stop copiers.
And, my opinion doesn't matter
