well i remember i started out with 33x and then once i went to 2d and it felt like a whole new server for me,after learning it i saw that its less complex (and it has more players) and is more fun to raid people.

I like v2d because it is not such a strain on my laptop, besides, I really don't like the night in v33x. It is nice with cycle and all that but I feel like it is night the majority of the time and it really puts a weird damper to everything.
Also v2d is so nostalgic and known, I don't really get that bored of it. Or maybe I'm just afraid of change??  Who knows 
Systems with low or shallow player-to-player interaction erode the social dynamics that keeps FL interesting.

V33x, it's the map i've always known, plus the Nexus to me on V2D has too much of a 'HL2 Combine' feel.
