FL word filtering

So, noticeable word filtering on FL is getting overly ridiculous. First F*ckin is replaced with freaking as if we're 5 year olds, now n0ob is filtered to newbie!?

This is getting damn ridiculous. We're not 5, and I don't see why they're all filtered?

If someone can give me a logical explanation, then I'll be happy; though I can't see one.

Why can't we follow the same IG rules. Profanity can be used, not excessively and not directed at anyone. As Jamster said we're not 5.

May I also add, why are staff members and veterans exempt from this censorship? As though we're the bad rule breakers.

I just wish the censoring made sense. Rather than using three asterisks for every word (possibly the dumbest solution imaginable), replace some of the letters with them (f**k, s**t, b*****d etc).

Or you could all just grow up.
