Problem when trying to join V33X

So, I've tried many things such as restarting my PC, my Gmod and it's just not working. When I try to join 33x it says 'Connecting to server...' then a few seconds later it says in the middle of my screen 'Connection failed after 4 retries.' I can join 2D and other servers on Gmod, but just not 33x.

I have tried rejoining multiple times, it just doesn't work.

I wish for that to be my last option. I'll have to see if there are any other solutions first.

- Possibly your ping was bad to the server?
- Server possibly might not of been on ?
- Try verifying garrymod files.
- Try re-joining after a day or two
- Wait for a restart ( sometimes an issue happens with the server )

There will always be a reason for you not being able to connect to the server, whether client-side or server-side. The problem is usually client-side, but there can be server-side issues possibly to your client.

1.) Ping, not so sure about that, was fine on other servers.

Just waited a day. Now it works. Can be closed.

If this issue still persists some time in the future, join 33x on single player and then try and join on MP. It worked for me when I had this problem.

The quick way to fix this is do the following, it's normally a DNS related issue:

1) Ensure that you're on the Windows 8 Start Screen.
2) Simply type cmd and the Windows search bar will appear on the right hand side with search results.
3) Right click on Command Prompt and click Run as administrator .
4) Type in the command ipconfig /flushdns.

If this issue still persists some time in the future, join 33x on single player and then try and join on MP. It worked for me when I had this problem.

This works for me when ever I get this problem.
