How to keybind an act in the console again?
#1
Hey everyone,

A very long time ago, someone explained me how to keybind 'act dance' to B. Now 1 year later I forgot this command in console. I know it's something like:

Bind b act dance

But do you have put a '/' in front of it? Or maybe some ' '? Please tell me! Smile

Copy/paste this in console

bind key "act command"

Exactly what greed said. This works with any command as well; not just act dance.

E.g bind l "say /y THIS IS THE EC : PD! PULL OVER OR WE WILL USE FORCE!"

Where l is replaced with the key you want and the content in the speech marks being replaced with the command, but the speech marks being left in.

Thank you guys! I always used ' instead of " ... The "say /y (TEXT)" command is really handy!! Cheese
