Pocket Limit

I have got a small problem in my inventory. I got 50 big pockets and 800 inventory space and it says that I have hit the pockets limit but I have heard from people that this limit is way higher, like about 2000.

You can also buy medium and small pockets, up to 50 of those each, which'll let you hit around that number.
