Black and Purple checkered screen

Hello. Whenever I do drugs ingame (amphetamine, weed, heroin and shrooms) I get a black and purple checkered screen. This is caused by me missing the material. I have the flcontent pack downloaded and installed correctly, as I have no other issue seeing all props on the map (no purple and black checkered props).

Here's the twist though:

The problem persists on all servers, even after restarting comp/garrysmod, and even in single player mode. I have tried googling for a solution but the only thing that works for me is deleting my garrysmod folder (Steamapps/common/garrysmod/garrysmod) and then redownloading them.

Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be?

Follow these steps and this will stop until you take more of the drugs in CityRP.

1. Go into your Q menu.
2. Go into Post Processes.
3. Go into the overlay tab.
4. Check then uncheck "Water".

That should fix the problems with the textures.
