When I got on today I updated gmod and joined the server. My game crashed an hour or so later, and it asked to update again. Now when I try to join the servers it says the server you are trying to join has an older version of the game. Is there anyway to downgrade or fix this problem?

If you were to downgrade, then you wouldn't be able to join the server. Try again in the morning, and perhaps it may work, as your Legacy Browser might not have actually refreshed the server.
