Garry's mod have more players now, than it did at Fearless' prime time. I don't think "Old dead game" is the soloution. Although FiveM offers more and better RP oppertunities.

 
If you think Gmod is more active for Semi-Serious (and passive) rolepaly than it was in 2013 onwards, you've stuck your head in the sand.

Gary's Mod is dying. 23,000 players in the last 30 days compared to 38,000 in the summer of 2016. That's a big difference especially for a small community when semi-serious roleplay is becoming less popular and TT and DarkRP are taking over.

It seems like everyone is burying their head in the sand to avoid facing the truth about the situation. This is a temporary fix, it buys time for the developers to get on top of content creation. It doesn't solve the issue and its a huge risk to the current player base. 

If you think everyone is honestly fine with this, make it optional and see how many choose it... Watch uptake plummet. 

Seems like a recipe for disaster to me.

Your stats are incorrect, Garry's Mod has had 39k in the past 24 hours which is actually higher than the 38k you've said in 2016 (I'm using your figure, idk if that is wrong too). I understand if you're bored of Garry's Mod, but that doesn't make the game dead at all. If you're not interested in Garry's Mod (which your post implies) then there's not much we can offer for you at FL. Moving from this game isn't a plan at all for the foreseeable future.

We've spent a lot of time thinking about the economy and consulting with many members of the community about it, after quite literally months of planning we're finally ready to do it and there really isn't much more to be said now (I will note, figures are different than what is on the final document and we'll try get it updated soon. The only changes are for new players though, anyone over 200k will see very little difference in what they end up with versus the current plan). The intention of this thread isn't to discuss our plans, but rather inform you what we're doing. For better or worse that is the decision that has been made and is what we will be doing.
