What we're working on doesn't matter as FL has never and can't ever depend on updates to provide meaningful content. In the end it's an RP server which relies on players for stuff to do not updates. Updates are just a good way to give the server a boost as the server is fun while it has a lot of players and it has had a lot of players recently. We don't reveal what we're working on for a good reason and I doubt we ever will as saying so in the past has been a mistake. Unless we state otherwise, you should just assume we're not working on anything unless we release something and stop depending on updates because they are not a solution to anything.

they clearly are a solution lol you just release the wrong stuff all the time. we've made so many suggestions towards the team and you focus on something which you think will be better all the time. kevlar update was useless, it's mad how the best update has been the farming shit and that was made by a super admin.

They're not and have never been, when has FL ever been known for its updates or gamemode? It hasn't because FL has always been behind in that regard. It's what players do on FL which makes it what it is, we can just supplement that with updates but we can't replace it. Events are a good example, the server was full with a queue during the recent prison event as that was something players were doing. If you believe updates are the solution you're just setting yourself up for disappointment and something you'll never be happy with.

you live way to much in the past. you think this community is big, when it really isn't anymore. people aren't pulled in by events. they might come on for a little bit to enjoy themselves whilst it's happening but it's about keeping that playerbase after. the fact that there is nothing new when they come back disappoints them. the same server and it's been that way for 7 years.

You're basing this off your own experience, the server population has been extremely good lately and would suggest things are going mostly fine even without any updates. You say players aren't pulled in by events yet we hit max players and a queue with one that people seemed to have enjoyed. It feels like there is a disconnect between players who actively play and those complaining on the forums, as we've obviously doing something right but this thread would make it seem otherwise. There's not much we can do to try keep a gamemode that players have thousands of hours in fresh, it's up to players to craft unique experiences and for some to take initiative in doing so.

read my message before you reply, i said you have people for the event but then don't keep the population.

A sense of community.

I think nowadays a lot of people are too encouraged to play alone and avoid contact with other players as they try to make money or simply don't see the server as anything more than a place to drive about in, while hitting the occasional pedestrian. While it's true that there are clusters of players who hang out and roleplay avidly, and sometimes these clusters interact whether it be by chance or at an event - during the downtimes between these periods it seems like players are taking to socially distancing from one another ingame.

What I think can help remedy this is more people stepping up to the challenge of leading by example, by interacting with that random cornershop roleplay, by partaking in that race at grassyfields, and by roleplaying with other government team members to stop that reckless driving.

While I may be getting a bit off-topic here, my point is simple: players need to be encouraged to roleplay on the roleplay server, it sounds weird but it's true. By roleplaying with others and by encouraging people to develop their roleplaying skills, friendships can be fostered, collaborations can occur, and a sense of community can be created. This is a fundamental problem with Fearless and players do need to step up to the challenge and become good rolemodels if they truly want Fearless to succeed. This can change and I have witnessed small changes over the last few days, so who knows, maybe if enough people pitch in, Fearless can rebuild it's roleplay standards and interactions.

I've only been back a bit, but as of right now, this is where FL is lacking to me.

Server population has actually been quite good recently, this thread wasn't created over server population so I don't get why that's a point of yours.

I would say that's fine considering we (team) haven't done anything, stuff going on has been player driven.
