I have brought this up before and I'll gladly do it again.

One of the main issues is the staff, which we all already know about.
They're lacking in experience, skill, competence, quality and even quantity at the time of writing this.

Bring in applications. Let the dedicated ones show their determination. Instead of picking up rotten apples into your basket with nurturing ones that'll eventually turn rotten as well due to how poor these apples are picked up. Let the apples come to you. Get a good look at them, and see which ones are the ones that shine the most.

Almost every thriving big gaming community, GMod communities for example, does this and they have a great bunch of staff. They were picked up, not because of some biased admins that seemed to like them, but because they were reviewed carefully.

FL is at a turning point, and I will ensure that it'll improve the quality of the staff.

(Not doing this for the meme for once. I genuinely want FL to overcome this.)

I think this is just a horrible take. What is the admin team doing that is actively hurting the server? Yeah they aren't good, but if we demote all of them and promote the best admins in the world that doesn't stop the fact that only 20 care to get on the servers everyday. Shitting on Devs and admins is the ez brain dead approach trying to fix FL. It is almost 100% the visibility of the server. Every other take is almost completely useless and wrong. 

The only conversation that should be going on here is whether or not going to DarkRP is something the community is okay with, or if they would rather have the server die. Those are the 2 very clear and easy options.

Well.. Picking out almost corrupt and unprofessional staff is one thing that the 'admin team' is doing wrong.

I never said that all of them had to be removed, but a reform to the team would certainly help the situation. I see that right now is not what needs to be done for FL in order to have more than 20 players a day, but it has core aspects of the reasoning why FL is getting so little players lately. Having an actual good staff is not by being biased and hand-picking those that RPs best with the staff constantly. You can't ignore the fact that some kind of bias goes into picking new members for the team.

I will agree with you, that in order to fix FL right now, sure we need the visibility to go up first of all. But by putting it in the DarkRP section will give two downsides to this.
1) We're not a DarkRP server. There's a major difference between the two gamemodes. It can easily attract the wrong kind of people that come in here with a mindset thinking that this is, what we have advertised by putting it into that category.. an actual FL-DarkRP. And then there's the problem.. We need a better and reformed staff to take care of the matter.
2) FL can easily get overrun by other and more lucrative servers if we put FL into the DarkRP category/section. In this case we'll obviously be hard to find.

And saying "ez brain dead approach", doesn't really help the situation. Try to approach this in a more professional manner
