I am not sure what world you live in, but gambling on fearless is not illegal since you are not in any way enticed or forced into spending real money to gamble in-game. No purchase is necessary to gamble in-game currency, thus making it completely legal. Based on the information present and my limited knowledge of the law, it could only be illegal if either of these two factors was met. 1) The currency used for gambling is only available by purchase with real-life currency or 2) The user would receive an advantage by purchasing currency with real-life currency. To my knowledge, neither of these factors are present in the gambling system used at FL.

not going to bother repeating myself again for those that are illiterate - we will see what happens in the foreseeable future.

if you support underage gambling in any form - be it on a gmod server then you’re supporting the idea of addiction. Gambling is very addictive, I am 17 and yet I had lost at least 100k to casinos over 5 years because of the idea ‘if I spin again I’ll probably win’. By allowing so many casinos, weather you like it or not, you are actually allowing gambling to subconsciously ‘infect’ the brains of minors.

At the very least casinos must be whitelisted and they must state the odds of winning clearly otherwise I would like the users to be banned for terms of service - fearless should not be promoting gambling to minors.

You should not be able to gamble if you aren’t 18 in real life either, facts.

Cry all you want. Wait until you’re of age.

Then we should remove alcohol, guns and drugs from FL too

I find it really strange how you’re comparing guns drugs and alcohol which do not fuel addiction in any way shape or form in a game to casinos which definitely fuel and encourage addiction from a young age.

Technically no.

Alcohol, guns and drugs do not follow the same principle as casinos as around the world there are different laws regarding these things. For example; with parental consent, in the United Kingdom you can drink alcohol in your own home from the mere age of 5.

Gun Laws are subjective around the world, America allows them, the Uk does not, so on and so forth, Evocity (and nearly all City/Suburban maps are based in America, and so guns should be allowed (for realism)

Finally, unless you know the right people, drugs and the ability to get them is actually quite difficult. (I'm not saying that around the world there are the strictest of guidelines on drugs, but it isn't something a kid would actually go looking for.)

Now. Online Gambling is globally an adult rated entertainment source, which is recognised that you have to be 18 (or higher) to use. Unlike drugs or guns, it is easily accessible, (heck we even have it on FL)

I'm not for or against removing casinos at this point, but your argument as to why we should remove guns drugs and alcohol if we remove casinos is invalid. Next you'll want to remove /me as it gives the possibility for kids to commit "violent" acts amirite?

It’s always great to have a laugh at a serious topic - such as gambling addiction. Hopefully you will never in your life go through the process of being addicted to gambling and losing you’re family, house and ultimately life.

Being exposed to gambling from a young age is fuelling addiction. It is despicable that casino are targeting minors.

Those discussing casinos; do check out https://fearlessrp.net/showthread.php?ti...#pid807997 which is purely to discuss this. Also I make my points on there.

Don't quote me but because you can buy in-game currency via Money Packs with real life money, I get the feeling that theoretically it probably is illegal
Oh, I'll quote you cause what you're saying is wrong.

Well half of the casinos are also ran by under 18 year olds too so I am pretty sure its not completely fine BobZ

Yes, they are, in a roleplay server. Once again there is absolutely no way of cashing-out the ingame money, so it is perfectly legal, btw having to pull the BobZ card shows that you have no more points.

Have no more points? am not a lawyer mate, by saying Don't quote me clearly shows am just assuming you mong
