Make the start for beginners more easy.
Maybe add some sort of quick tutorial that explains the gamemode to newcomers.

People that just stumble accross the server and join because they're curious probably
leave very soon because it's hard to understand if you have no clue what this server is all about.

The problem is not lack of ideas - it is lack of developers/staff with time and/or interest to successfully implement and sustain them. Throwing around the same old ideas again and again isn't going to solve anything, it is time staff has finally done something. Jonas' idea of monthly passive nights was excellent for example, the idea was still there but his successor(s) as event manager could not sustain it. In the end, a cleaning of the staff team is needed with inactive staff being replaced with more active players who have interest in the gamemode.

to repopulate you must reproduce with the opposite sex

To repopulate you need these things:

- A reason for old people to come back
- A reason for new people to stay

As it stands as a new person:
- You likely wouldn't know what to do mainly because
- There are no guides on how to start, new players are just thrown into the deep end, with a totally different system compared to other
roleplay servers, add some more guides so they some what know what to do
- Everything takes forever, Why stay and play FL where you can go onto *another server on another gamemode* and earn money, get nice cars
and run around and shoot everyone somewhat quick, on FL you just sit and farm for hours its very boring, the second a new player gets
bored they would see it as shit, and likely leave to never return since they get the impression it is nothing more than shit, if a player
was to understand well the gamemode and not have to start of with *next to nothing* (10k) but instead a car, some money and something else
since they have something, they would be more likely to stay since instead of grinding simulator they can actually play and have fun.
- Any new player who wants to actually RP would see that a majority of FL is shooting and shit talking cops or standing around main street
screaming at eachother would no longer want to RP since they get the impression its just a fuckery, RP needs to be promoted more, more
rewards need to be given.

An reason for old people to join back:

- FL has stayed pretty much the same for years now, and its got rather boring - change everything up.
- Old players need a reason to come back - you could maybe do like a achievement/commendation system for them for just random fun shit of anything to mix up the time you play on FL for maybe money or special items etc - Maybe add a challenge for the week for example fish the most etc - and win a special item idk you can think better.
- Basically just make a reason for them to come on each day
- Whether that be a events (Doesnt even have to be a full rp one, could literally just be a tdm event etc or a car race around the map with hl2 jeeps or just 5v5's with random teams etc, just mini events, even darkrp like ones since they can be fucking hilarious and give the winner money etc

I did mention that the game is quite repetitive, it would be quite nice to have lots of events on the server where everyone can take part and act out different roles - teachers could be put in control of organising these events which could be hosted every other day.
