It is Jewish regardless, don't see you complaining about matzah even though it was probably originated in ancient Egypt as there are Passover stories of the Exodus of Jews from Egypt that Jews didn't have enough time to bake bread or didn't have enough ingredients so they struggled and rushed their baking and as a result, they got a matzah

Couscous is somewhere from North Africa, yes. But we still eat it like any other person in the Middle East. And you're right, Schnitzel is German, but children love it with chips and it is a very popular food in Israel and is sold under many versions such as the popular schnitzel corn.

Man, hummus is absolute heaven. You should try mixing your kebab with tahini and amba, I often eat it with shawarma but kebab should do just fine as well, it's so good and tastes like it's not from this world.
