I cant see matrials

Iv'e had this problem for ages and i don't know how to fix it I will Put a Materiel's on a Prop and i cant see it if other players put materials on thee props I cant see it Some of my friends said to put '-dxlevel 90' into console which I have done but it comes up saying unknown command 'dxlevel'

Put that into the startup line for the game.

Like khajo said, you have to put that on the startup line for the game.

1) Basically open steam.
2) Left click garry's mod.
3) Click properties and set launch options.
4) Paste it there.

If that doesn't work you should follow the above steps up to 3 but don't click launch option this time click local files and click verify integrity of game cache.

For when this happens this is what I do,

Reinstall counter strike source and run it

Re download and install the materials in the what you need to play page.
