MSE Firewall

I've downloaded and tried Microsoft Security Essentials. It's actually pretty good and completely free if you own a genuine Windows version.

I use MSE too. Used Bitdefender first, but started to get annoying.

MSE is indeed very good, use it for a while now and never had any problems

Personally, Ive tried MSE Firewall and I really didnt think it was strict enough to serve my needs especially with the constant TCP/UDP Connections that I use through various programs, sites, etc.
Ive had good experience with Komodo, as it is strict but allows the option to become more passive when performing a task such as gaming. As another suggestion ZoneAlarm is great for those looking for a strict and more involved Firewall. Though it can be rather annoying, levels of program activity alert can be adjusted and as well as your ability to add exceptions to the firewall exception list.
