Sorry but if you thought this was real at any point, you are pretty damn stupid..

Someone getting the achievement because a player called Garry had joined doesnt mean someone is stupid. At first glance it seems legit but not until you go full Sherlock Holmes up in this shit. Seeing two pieces of information that add up seeming legitimate and thinking as if it is, is nowhere near stupid. Merely an informed thought process.

The obvious first thing to do would be to search if it's the real Garry, by going to his profile and checking hours. But even when the evidence is SO obvious people still denied it being fake even when the evidence was overwhelming.

So I say again, you gotta be pretty damn stupid to think it was real.
