Winrar/HL1 & 2 - I need help.

So, when I play v33x I get a few missing textures here and there. I went onto the content page, started downloading hl1 & 2.

It says windows cannot open the file, so I download winrar. I then open the file. I attempt to extract the file I get this diagnostic message:

C:\Users\Luke\AppData\Local\Temp\Rar$DIa0.090\hl2_episode_1and2_addon.zip: Unexpected end of archive

And I get this when I attempt to put it in the addons folder:

C:\Users\Luke\AppData\Local\Temp\Rar$DIa0.090\hl2_episode_1and2_addon.zip: The archive is either in unknown format or damaged

If you know how to fix this, please help me fix this.

Well, I use a Mac, but, are you able to extract it onto your desktop THEN manually place it? Ugh, I really don't know.

Try downloading it again, that is the problem, the file has no end, something went wrong during the download.

Do you mean the actual winrar zip file or the hl1&2 file inside it? I've tried extracting the hl1&2 file from the desktop into the addons folder and I got this;

C:\Users\Luke\Desktop\hl2_episode_1and2_addon.zip: The archive is either in unknown format or damaged

I will try the winrar zip file, and let you know if anything happens.
