Can't Post Pictures on Thread

When I post a new thread I want to know how to post a picture on it. I have already tried:

[/img] (LINK) [img] [/img]

[img]

But all it does is post a blank icon and nothing is shown. For ex.

dont copy paste the URL and then write [img]<link>[/img], it wont work
Go to imgurs premade links, they work

If you're using Tinypic, first of all, switch to Imgur. Far easier.

But here's what Voluptious was saying just with Tinypic:

Copy the one with the black arrow directly into the body of the thread to put in a picture at its normal size.
Copy the one with the red arrow into the 'Insert an Image' tab on the thread to be able to change its width and height.

e.g. here, I made the width 150 rather than its full size.

As Dig said, the layout is always [img]link[/img].
As a general rule, just remember the URL you want to copy should end in .jpg, .png or .gif, or whatever the format.
If the image you want to place does not have a premade 'forum & message board' link, Copy Image URL into the 'Insert an Image' box and choose the width and/or height (or leave blank to insert it at full size).
