I completely agree with this. On the news I saw parents' reactions on the protesters demonstrating at the wrong location during the entry of Sinterklaas in Gouda (Where the Gouda Cheese comes from). They were protesting in front of the little children! The police arrested them. I found it so shocking! What are they even thinking? They are ruining the fun for the children! They claim children will think that white people are better than black people! That is nonsense! Those little brains are not thinking about black and white people. They are thinking about the lovely presents they are getting. They actually love Zwarte Piet.

Kind Regards,

Russell Brand aside because the man is a bit of a twat, some of the imagery in those books is nothing short of racist caricature. The book with the boat etc. can I ask are they common children's books or have they been cherry picked? I'm not often one for political correctness but neither do I think hangovers from days of colonial slavery are worth keeping tbh.

The book was slightly cherry picked, but its certainly not very unusual to see these books being read to children. But the book aside, is the actual festival racist?
